Kaua‘i County offices will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Jan. 19.

Closures also include the following facilities:

• All neighborhood centers
• The Puhi Metals Recycling Center
• The Kekaha Landfill
• HI5 Redemption Centers
• All refuse transfer stations

Because the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools are closed on Mondays, staff will observe the holiday on Jan. 20. The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holiday.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Jan. 20.
