No state roadway closures scheduled week of Dec. 27 through Jan. 2, 2026

Hawai‘i Department of Transportation reports there are no lane closures scheduled on state roadways around Kaua‘i during the week of Dec. 27 through Jan. 2, 2026.

Furthermore, there will be no lane closures or Kūhiō Highway contraflow Jan. 1, 2026, in observance of New Year’s Day.

A holiday lane closure restriction continues through Jan. 4, 2026.

Only closures with demonstrated need — such as those necessary for safety or to avoid lengthy construction delays — are approved.
