Update 8:52 a.m. Dec. 11, 2025: Kaua‘i police confirm a man, initially reported as missing, is traveling out of state.
Jacob Durnell, who has no permanent address, last had contact with someone on Dec. 1. Through information provided by the public, police were able to confirm the 30-year-old’s location.

Jacob Durnell, who has no known permanent residence, was last in contact with someone on Dec. 1. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 175 pounds, with blue eyes and short brown hair.
Durnell is known to frequent the area spanning from Līhuʻe to Kaumakani.
