The Kaua‘i Performing Arts Center is preparing to open its student-led production of “The Further Adventures of Nick Tickle, Fairy Tale Detective,” a family-friendly comedy set to take the stage next week at the Kaua’i War Memorial Convention Hall in Līhu’e.

The show, which is aimed at young audiences, follows detective Nick Tickle as he unravels mysteries in Fairy Tale Land by interviewing characters such as Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin and Bluebeard.

Students from across the island have been rehearsing for weeks, tackling the challenges of mounting a full-scale production while keeping the experience accessible for local families.

Public performances are scheduled for Dec. 12 and 13 at 7 p.m., with a matinee on Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.

Tickets cost $10 per person.

Organizers state that the low ticket price is intended to make the production more affordable during the holiday season. Residents interested in purchasing tickets can click here.
