Kaua’i County offices, facilities to close for Thanksgiving; but residential garbage will be picked up

County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving.

Closures include all neighborhood centers, the Puhi Metals Recycling Center, Kekaha Landfill, HI5 Redemption Centers, refuse transfer stations, and the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools.

Residential refuse collection will continue on its normal schedule, and the Kaua‘i Bus will operate on its regular holiday routes.

County offices and services will resume regular business hours on Friday, Nov. 28.
