Road closure for portion of Weliweli Road to run Nov. 10 through mid-December

Kaua’i County Department of Public Works and contractor Cushnie Construction announce a full road closure along a portion of Weliweli Road in Kōloa starting next week that will last into mid-December.

The closure is necessary from Nov. 10 through mid-December, weather permitting, for installation of a drainage swale across Weliweli Road.

Access to properties and businesses will continue to be provided.

Motorists should make appropriate arrangements and allow extra time to get to destinations.

No parking will be allowed in the work zones during the closure period; flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
