Kauaʻi Bus community outreach event scheduled this week

Kauaʻi Bus plans a community outreach event this week to get the community charged up about new members of its fleet.

The event will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at Kapaʻa Neighborhood Center, located at 4491 Kou St., in Kapaʻa.

It will highlight the introduction of Kauaʻi Bus’ new battery electric buses and their connection to the Kauaʻi Bus Short Range Transit Plan and Kauaʻi Multimodal Land Transportation Plan.

All community members are encouraged to share their input about the initiative and other public transportation topics.
