Road work scheduled for various locations in Wailuā Houselots area

Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works and contractor Maui Kupono Builders notify the public about road closures and single-lane contraflows for portions of Nonou Road, Likeke Place, Laʻaukea Place, Eggerking Road and Nānā Place in the Wailuā Houselots area beginning next week.

The traffic pattern shifts are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays only Oct. 13-24, weather permitting, and are necessary for road paving work.

Access to properties will be provided.

Motorists should observe and obey all traffic controls, posted signs and flaggers in the work areas. Anticipate detours, lane and road closure delays and allow extra travel time while commuting in and through the work zones.
