Both Kaua‘i County Division of Motor Vehicles locations to close 1 day next week

Both Kaua‘i County Division of Motor Vehicles locations will be temporarily closed 1 day next week. The main Līhu‘e office and Kapa‘a satellite office will be shuttered Oct. 8 to accommodate staff training.

Regular hours at each location will resume Oct. 9.

Normal hours of operation at the main office in Līhu‘e are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is closed on state and federal holidays.

Kūpuna Hour is 8 to 8:45 a.m., with appointment holders and walk-ins to follow. Walk-ins are accepted until 2 p.m.

The Kapa‘a satellite office is regularly open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for appointment-holding customers only.
