Unique handmade products and fresh produce on display at Senior Center Craft Fair

Handmade goods, baked treats and fresh produce will be showcased at the upcoming Senior Center Craft Fair in Līhu’e on Oct. 11.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Līhu‘e Neighborhood Center, 3353 Eono Street.

It will showcase the creativity of members from the Līhu‘e, Waimea and Kekaha Neighborhood Center Senior Clubs, as well as the Līhu‘e Senior Bonsai Club.

Blankets, rugs, quilts, pillows, leis, kitchen towels, Christmas items, cards, and other crafts will be available at the fair. (Photo Credit: Līhu'e Senior Center)

Shoppers can expect a wide variety of items, including quilts, blankets, rugs, leis, pillows, kitchen towels, holiday crafts and greeting cards.

The Līhu‘e Bonsai Club also will offer plants for sale, while the fair’s Country Store will feature baked goods, pickled cucumbers, fresh fruits and vegetables, and assorted household items.

Organizers say the fair provides a chance for the community to support senior artisans while picking up unique, handmade products.
