Trash pickup delayed in Waimea, Kapa‘a

Equipment issues have casued residential trash pickup services to be delayed in the Waimea and Kapa‘a areas on the Garden Isle.

Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works advises residents to leave their bins out if their trash is not collected by 3:30 p.m. Sept. 16. Pickup for the area is anticipated to be completed Sept. 17.

“Mahalo for your patience,” said Public Works in announcing the delay.
