Kauaʻi Healthy Living craft fair adds holiday shopping to its wellness celebration
The Kaua‘i Healthy Living Celebration is returning this fall with an even larger community gathering, focusing on wellness, culture, and family fun.
Hosted by the Hawai‘i Health Systems Corporation Kaua‘i Region, the free event will take place on Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital campus in the lower parking lot in Waimea.
Now in its second year, the celebration promises to be larger than before, with more than 35 health and wellness vendors on site, alongside Hawaiʻi Health Systems Corporation Kaua‘i Region health teams.
Those attending can receive health tips directly from doctors, enjoy entertainment, and participate in activities designed to promote healthy living.
The annual craft fair will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering attendees an early opportunity to browse unique items from local craft vendors during the holiday season. The two events make the Westside gathering a “one-stop shop” for both health and community connection.

Radio and television personality Mele Apana will serve as the emcee, accompanied by live music from the Cruz Control duo. Families can look forward to lucky drawings, giveaways, and free bike helmets and fittings for keiki.
Paige Moura, Internal Marketing and Communications coordinator, said, “We welcome you to join us and view the different hospital department tables sharing information about the various services we provide.”
Admission is free and open to all ages.
