Minor coastal flooding is expected to continue throughout the Hawaiian Islands through Friday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Honolulu, peak high tides associated with the lunar cycle, will lead to minor coastal flooding along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas. Coastal flooding is possible around the daily peak tide, which will be during the afternoon hours.

Impacts include flooded beaches that are normally dry, minor coastal erosion and saltwater inundation.
