The closures — which are necessary for tree trimming and removal — continue through 4 p.m. today and again from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 14, weather permitting. Intermittent 15- to 30-minute full road closures will occur throughout the day in the vicinity of Makamaka Street.

Motorists should make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to their destinations if they must drive through the area during the closure period.

No parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic.
