Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works and contractor Maui Kupono Builders remind the public that a single lane closure continues along Kīkala Road in Kalāheo through 3:30 p.m. today and again from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 8, weather permitting.

The closure is necessary because of guardrail repair and installation work.
Motorists are advised to make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the lane closure, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to their destination if traveling through the area.
