Water Service on Kuamo’o Road Restored

Water service has been restored to customers on Kuamo’o Road; between Opaeka’a Road and Pa’ako Street, Lihau Street, Kuhoho Street, Aleo Street, Pa’ako Street, Iliki Street, Hie Street, Molo Street and Alahele Street in Wailua as of approximately 12:40 p.m. this afternoon.

The Department of Water (DOW) has completed the emergency repairs to the damaged mainline and customers may now resume normal water use.

The partial one-lane road closure near the intersection of Opaeka’a Road and Kuamo’o Road will remain in place for an additional one to two hours, as DOW crews complete the remaining work.
