Kauaʻi police to temporarily adjust records and firearms service hours next week

The Kauaʻi Police Department will make temporary changes to records and firearms service hours due to staff training early next week.

The records and firearms registration windows will be closed from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Monday, July 21.

On Tuesday, July 22, the firearms registration window will close early at 12:30 p.m. and remain closed for the rest of the day. Records services will remain open during regular hours.

Normal business hours will resume on Wednesday, July 23.

Records services are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and firearms registration services are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., excluding state and federally observed holidays.
