Kauaʻi County Housing Agency encouraging community members to provide their input on the Waimea 400 Affordable Housing Master Plan by completing an online survey by June 30.

The final Waimea 400 Affordable Housing workshop was conducted May 28 at Waimea Canyon Middle School.
County Housing Agency officials during the workshop shared the final site plan for the project, discussed potential housing types, provided updates about the Homebuyer Program and presented park improvement plans in collaboration with Kauaʻi County Department of Parks and Recreation.
Residents who were unable to attend can watch the recording on Hō‘ike TV’s YouTube channel. Meeting materials and additional information also are available at the Waimea 400 website.
Community feedback is critical to shaping the future of the Waimea 400 project.
The county Housing Agency is finalizing the master plan and welcomes community input on housing types; park improvements, including the future Waimea Stadium; and programs such as homebuyer and leasehold opportunities.
Survey feedback will help guide the next steps once planning milestones are complete.
