Intermittent lane closures extended for portions of Pu‘uwai, Po‘ohiwi roads in Kalāheo

Kaua‘i Department of Water is notifying the public that intermittent lane closures will be extended for portions of Pu‘uwai and Po‘ohiwi roads in Kalāheo as part of the the Kalāheo Water Systems Improvements Project.

The following areas are affected, weather permitting:

• Intersection of Kikala Road and Pu‘uwai Road through July 1.
• Pu‘uwai Road through Sept. 30.
• Po‘ohiwi Road through Sept. 30.
• Intersection of Po‘ohiwi and Pu‘uwai roads through Sept. 30.
• Gravel portion of Pu‘uwai Road through Oct. 29.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when driving through these areas, follow the directions of flaggers and adhere to posted signs.
