The Princeville Public Library has completed building renovations and is reopening at 1 p.m. today.

The Princeville Public Library closed for renovations in October 2023. The project included replacing the air conditioning, repainting, re-flooring, and making structural improvements to both the interior and exterior of the building.

To celebrate the reopening, the public is invited to attend a brief program, which will be followed by music, refreshments, a history walk, a puppet-making workshop, and other family-friendly events from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

“We are thrilled to finally be able to reopen to the community and look forward to welcoming everyone back into the renovated space,” said Stacey A. Aldrich, state librarian. “We are opening just in time for the community to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge at their neighborhood library.”
