Make this Mother’s Day Kaua‘i Made
Looking for that special gift for Mom, Grandma, Sis, Aunty or another special mother in your life? What about just a day out and about to give her time to relax and do a little shopping of her own?
Kaua‘i County Office of Economic Development has just the opportunity this weekend — and products made right here on the Garden Isle will be in the spotlight.
Bring your most maternal figures to the Kaua‘i Made Mother’s Day Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 10 at the Sheraton Kaua‘i Coconut Beach Resort in Wailua.
More than 20 Kaua‘i Made vendors will be selling their wares and products, plus there will live music and plenty ʻono food. The first 150 shoppers will receive a free Kaua‘i Made bag.
You can also sign Mom up for a chance to win a gift basket filled with Kaua‘i Made products.
Kaua‘i Made was launched in 2006 by Kaua‘i County with support from Hawai‘i Tourism Authority. Its goal is to bring more visibility for locally made products and encourage production of value-added agricultural products.
A wide range of these products are available through the program, including apparel and accessories, fine art, crafts, food, floral, health and beauty, jewelry, publications and more.
Visit the Kaua‘i Made website for additional information.
