Kaua‘i Police Department is looking for an infusion of new blue blood to better serve the Garden Isle with purpose.

Police recently unveil a new recruitment website, providing an opportunity for those interested in working for the department to explore rewarding career paths and join a dedicated team serving the Kaua‘i community.

The department has 36 vacant police officer positions and 10 dispatcher openings. It’s actively seeking people eager to make a positive, lasting impact right now.

Starting salaries range from $76,000 to more than $118,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

There also are many opportunities for growth in advancement, including serving on specialized units such as traffic enforcement, criminal investigations, K-9, community relations and forensics.
