53-year-old man dies after reported disorderly incident at Līhu‘e Airport
A 53-year-old man is dead following a reported disorderly incident early Wednesday morning at Līhu‘e Airport.

Officers with Kaua‘i Police Department responded to a request for assistance from airport law enforcement officers, arriving at about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday to help with a man who was reported to be disorderly.
Kaua‘i police officers upon arriving saw a man being detained by two airport officers and an airline employee.
They learned the man was in need of immediate medical attention and began cardiopulmonary resuscitation efforts, or CPR, along with administering a dose of Naloxone, also known as Narcan, a medication used to rapidly reverse an opioid overdose.
Emergency medical personnel arrived shortly after and continued advanced resuscitation efforts while transporting the man to Wilcox Medical Center in Līhu‘e, where he was later pronounced dead.
The man was identified as 53-year-old Harley Morris, who had no known address.
An autopsy was scheduled to determine Morris’ exact cause of death.
The incident remains under investigation.
