Lane closures underway on Maluhia Road in Kōloa

Single-lane closures are underway during weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday along a portion of Maluhia Road in Kōloa, in the vicinity of the S-turns, to ensure the public’s safety while Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works Roads Division crews cuts grass and perform vegetation maintenance along the roadway.

One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions.

All work is weather permitting.

Drivers should plan ahead for the lane closures. Motorists also should use alternate routes and allow for extra time to get to their destinations.

No parking is allowed in the work zone. Flaggers are on-site directing traffic.
