Hawai‘i Department of Transportation announces its planned weekly lane closures for Dec. 21-27.

A holiday lane closure restriction runs from Dec. 23 through Jan. 5, 2025. Only closures with demonstrated need — or those necessary for safety or to avoid lengthy construction delays — were approved and are on this list.

There will be no lane closures or Kūhiō Highway southbound contraflow on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.

Lane closure schedules can change at any time without notice, and all projects are weather permitting.
