Lane closures scheduled to start next week for parts of Kekaha

One-lane closures are scheduled to begin next week on several roadways in Kekaha.

The Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works announced the closures — necessary for road resurfacing work — will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays Nov. 25 to Dec. 6, weather permitting, on the following roads:

  • ‘Auku‘u Road.
  • ʻĀkepa Road.
  • Mamo Road.
  • Kiowea Road.

Residents who live in or have a valid reason and/or neeed to be in the area will be allowed partial access.

The public is advised to make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the road closures and allow extra time to get to their destinations.

No parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be directing traffic.
