Kauaʻi County is notifying the public that Lydgate Campground in Līhuʻe will be closed Nov. 12-21.

People with existing camping permits will be refunded for their permit fees and assisted with obtaining permits at other county campgrounds.
Camping at Lydgate Campground will resume at noon Nov. 21.
The temporary closure is necessary so Kauaʻi County Department of Parks and Recreation staff can thoroughly clean and perform much-needed grounds maintenance of the campground facilities.
