Temporary employment available with Hawaiʻi’s House of Representatives for 2025 session

Are you interested in learning about the inner workings of State Government? Do you want to help make Hawai’i a better place to live and work? Would you like to assist your neighbors when they have questions or concerns and help guide them in resolving issues?

If so, there are staff positions available for the upcoming 2025 session of the state House of Representatives.

People can apply for jobs, which include: legislative aide, committee clerk, program budget analyst, data-entry clerk, receptionist, service aide, support staff for remote hearings and legislative attorney.

Prior legislative experience is not required, and individuals from diverse backgrounds are encourged to submit applications.

Session staff positions are temporary and typically span from December/January until May, with salary ranges dependent upon the position and relevant experience. The hiring process will take place in November and December. For these positions, comprehensive benefits such as health, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance are available.
