Kūhiō Highway to be closed briefly today

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation reports that Kūhiō Highway, at mile post 4.7 (the Waikoko hairpin turn), will be closed at 3 p.m. today.
The closure is so the Kaua‘i Police Department can conduct a crash recovery and investigation.
The portion of the highway is expected to reopen at 5 p.m.
