Swell Summary
The current moderate long-period northwest swell (320 to 330 degrees) peaked and will steadily decline today through the rest of the work week. A smaller north- northwest swell should provide small short lived boost this weekend. A small long- period southwest will gradually decline today through the week. Additionally, a fetch of strong southwest winds that occurred Monday near 10N170W should bring an increase of short- period energy from the southwest later today into Thursday. A smaller long period southwest pulse is expected Thursday night into Friday with a gradual decline over the weekend. A small, long period south southwest swell may begin to fill in late over the weekend and peak early next week. East facing shores will remain small through much of the week due to the lack of strong trades upstream of the state.
