Swell Summary
Surf along north and west facing shores will remain up today as a long-period west-northwest swell moves through. A downard trend is expected Friday through the weekend. Surf along east facing shores will remain near seasonal levels through Friday, then quickly build over the weekend as Tropical Cyclone One approaches and moves into the area. Heights may reach the advisory level for east facing shores of the Big Island and Maui County by Sunday. A gradual downard trend is possible early next week as the system moves away. Surf along south facing shores will remain small and below the summertime average through early next week. A new long-period south swell arriving Tuesday and Wednesday next week, could build surf back up close to the summertime average.
