The Kaua‘i Police Commission has partnered with the Kaua‘i Police Department, Police Chief Todd Raybuck and the global analytics and advisory firm Gallup.

In an effort to conduct a climate assessment of the Kaua‘i Police Department, a Gallup survey was deployed to all Kaua‘i Police Department staff from May 6-28. The results of the survey will be presented at an upcoming police commission meeting.

“I’m extremely pleased that 70% of KPD staff responded to the survey and I look forward receiving Gallup’s report and learning more about the next steps forward,” said Police Commission Chair Laurie Yoshida.

The 2024 Gallup survey will serve as a baseline assessment, as the police commission intends to continue the survey annually to collect further data.
