Kapa‘a transfer station only accepting bagged trash Friday

The rubbish transfer station in Kapa‘a will only accept bagged trash Friday, until further notice, because of scheduled equipment repairs.

Repairs could be finished by as early as Saturday; however, the public will be updated when normal service resumes.

All other services at the Kapa‘a transfer station are still available. In addition, loose mixed waste will be accepted at all other refuse transfer stations on the island.

The Kapa‘a transfer station is open from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. daily, except on holidays.
