Culvert failure under portion of Kaumuali‘i Highway forces single lane closure in Kekaha

A single lane closure is in effect until further notice on Kaumuali‘i Highway Kikiaola Boat Harbor due to the failure of a culvert under the roadway.

Also known as Route 50, the highway will be closed 24/7 for repairs.

Traffic is currently being maintained in both directions through alternating traffic control (contraflow). Motorists are advised to drive slowly and with caution through the area and follow the directions of the flaggers.
