Kaua‘i County announces Presidents’ Day closures

Kaua‘i County offices will be closed Feb. 19 in observance of Presidents’ Day. Holiday closures also will include the following facilities:

• All neighborhood centers.
• All refuse transfer stations.
• Kekaha Landfill.
• Puhi Metals Recycling Center.
• All HI5 recycling redemption center locations. Click here for location information.

In addition, the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools will observe the holiday on Feb. 20, since the pool is generally closed on Mondays.

The schedule for residential refuse pick up will remain unchanged.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume Feb. 20.
