Due to hazardous ocean conditions, the gate to Queen’s Bath in Princeville is closed today, June 19 and will reopen when conditions are deemed safe.
Queen’s Bath, a noteworthy site on the North Shore of Kaua‘i, was closed throughout last winter due to dangerous conditions. It usually reopens during the summer months.
2022 saw several swimmers rescued from the waters of Queen’s bath, including a group of four tourists from Texas, Wisconsin, Mississippi and Florida.
