Shortly upon arrival, fire personnel from the Līhu‘e fire station found no indication of fire or smoke. However, crews discovered two inches of water above the floor. Fire personnel disabled the water flow to the sprinkler system, while power to the affected areas was shut off.

Staff from the Department of Public Works and the Department of Parks and Recreation were also on the scene.

Fire crews cleared the scene shortly before 10:30 p.m.
