Anaina Hou releases spring concert schedule

On Saturday, April 29, award-winning Hawai‘i legend John Cruz will take the stage with his band at Anaina Hou Community Park on the North Shore of Kaua‘i.

This concert is Cruz’s first time performing on island since since selling out Porter Pavilion nearly one year ago.

Throughout his career, Cruz has delivered the full package – soulful vocals, supreme musicianship and stellar songs.

Last year, he made clear he has no intention of backing down – electrifying venues across the islands with a band that both rocks and enthralls, bringing to life the classic songs we know and love alongside new tunes that hit equally hard. In addition, Cruz captured his latest Nā Hōkū Hanohano award with his single, “It’s Time to Build A Bridge,” being voted the 2022 Music Video of the Year.

On May 6, Stephen Inglis will return to Anaina Hou to celebrate founding member and forever drummer of The Grateful Dead Bill Kreutzmann’s 77th Birthday.

The show will re-create the Grateful Dead’s May 1977 Boston Garden show. More information on set list and show antics at Anainahou.org.

On May 20, The Kaua‘i Chorale will celebrate 60 years on the Garden Isle.

The Kaua‘i Chorale has been presenting diverse choral music concerts with repertoire ranging from classical works to jazz, pop, and Broadway show tunes. The Chorale has performed in Honolulu as well as New York City and is often joined by other local musical groups for concerts.
