The Kaua‘i Department of Public Works and its contractor M Sugai Plumbing have announced there will be intermittent lane closures along Menehune Road, approximately 0.5 miles north of the Waimea Swinging Bridge, from April 24 to 28.

Work hours are from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The lane closure is necessary for waterline installation work. Steel plates will be onsite to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions as needed. Flaggers will be positioned at the ends of the work zone to direct traffic.

Brief and occasional delays are expected. Motorists are advised to make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the road closure and allow extra time to get to destinations. Please exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area.

Anyone with questions or concerns may contact Mike Sugai of M Sugai Plumbing at 808-482-1413.
