Road closures scheduled in Kalihiwai

Portions of Halaulani Road and Kahiliholo Road in Kalihiwai will be closed Dec. 19 to Jan. 13, weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

There will be no work on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 in observance of the Christmas day and New Year’s day holidays.
One-lane closures will occur at the following locations and dates:

Halaulani Road, from Dec. 19 to Dec. 21.
Kalihiholo Road, from Dec. 21 to Jan. 13.

These closures are necessary for road resurfacing work. One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions.

Make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at both ends of the work zone to direct traffic.
