Lane closures scheduled for portions of Kalāheo

Parts of two roadways in Kalāheo will be closed at the end of the month because of road resurfacing work.

Lane closures are scheduled from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays from Oct. 27-Nov. 1, weather permitting, for Opu Road and Lae Road. One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions.

During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at both ends of the work zone to direct traffic.

Motorists are encouraged to make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to destinations.
