Grants available for community groups and nonprofits
The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, Life’s Choices Kauaʻi Program is offering grant-in-aid for community groups and nonprofit organizations.
These grants will support various projects, programs, or events aligned with drug prevention, intervention, enforcement, treatment, recovery, harm reduction, and community integration strategies.
“We encourage eligible applicants to apply,” stated Prosecuting Attorney Rebecca Like. “These grants are an opportunity for community organizations to receive funding for projects that benefit the people of Kauai, but may lack the necessary State or Federal funding.”
Each applicant will be able to apply for up to $2,000 in grant funds. Eligibility requirements are listed on the grant application. There is no deadline to apply; however, grants will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To apply, visit the Life’s Choices Kauaʻi website at http://www.kauai.gov/lifeschoiceskauai. For questions or more information, contact Michael Miranda at 808-245-4925 or at mmiranda@kauai.gov.
