KGA Club play will be reinstated at Wailua Municipal Golf Course starting June 22.

Due to the threat of the spread of COVID-19 the golf course was shut down but has been reopening in phases since May 2. With KGA Club play returning, Department of Parks and Recreation officials say pairings must be submitted to the golf course registration office by noon the day before. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the club’s tee times.

The submissions are accepted by email: [email protected]; fax: 808-241-6672; or hand-delivered to the office.

Additionally, tee times will now be limited to six-minute intervals and motorized golf carts may be used by two players. However, face masks must be worn in the golf cart if the two players do not live in the same household.

Face masks are not required in the golf cart if the two players live in the same household; picture IDs will be needed for verification.

More information on the updated change in procedure can be found at www.kauai.gov/golf and at the golf course.
