DOH Reports 7 New COVID-19 Cases Thursday

Hawai‘i Department of Health reports seven new COVID-19 cases, all located on O‘ahu, bringing the statewide total to 692.

Kauai County has had no new cases for several weeks. The 21 individuals diagnosed with the virus have all recovered. Statewide, 623 individuals have recovered and been released from isolation.

Here are the COVID-19 cases numbers county-by-county:

  • Hawai‘i County: 81
  • Honolulu County: 458
  • Kaua‘i County: 21
  • Maui County: 120

Today marks 11 weeks since the state’s mandatory 14-day self-quarantine started for all passengers arriving in Hawaii from out of state. While the quarantine for inter-island travel is set to be lifted on June 16, Gov. David Ige extended the order for mainland and transpacific travelers to July 31.

On June 10, 1,484 people arrived in Hawaii. Twenty-four visitors arrived at Līhu‘e Airport.
