Kama‘aina Rewards Members Can Get 15 Cents Off Per Gallon
Par Hawai‘i, the state’s leading provider of refined petroleum products, is giving residents of the islands a break at the gas pump as prices continue to increase.
Starting Friday, May 27, all registered Kama‘aina Rewards members can get a 15-cent-per-gallon discount on any grade of gasoline and diesel at all Hele stations and participating 76 branded stations. The discount will also apply to biodiesel sold at selected stations.
Par Hawai‘i markets fuels via a network of 76 and Hele stations throughout the state and operates the nomnom convenience stores. The company also operates a refinery in Kapolei on O‘ahu.
“Crude oil prices throughout the world have been hovering at high levels,” Eric Lee, Par Hawai‘i’s vice president of retail, said in a press release. “This has raised our energy costs to keep our refinery operating around the clock to meet the state’s energy demands. We’re all being squeezed these days, and Par Hawai‘i wants to do our part to help support Hawai‘i’s working families.”
The discount will be available for a limited time.
Customers who are not registered Kama‘aina Rewards members can sign up for the free customer loyalty program at any nomnom convenience store. Once their Kama‘aina Card is activated, they can receive the discount at the pump.
