Lane Closures Scheduled For Sections of Kapa‘a

Construction work will require the closure of portions of three roadways next week in Kapa‘a

According to the county Department of Public Works and Grace Pacific LLC., portions of Mailihuna, Hau‘a‘ala and Kawaihau roads will be closed from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, May 23-27.

The lane closures are necessary for clearing and grubbing work, roadway excavation and sidewalk construction.

“Motorists are encouraged to allow for extra travel time when driving near the work area and follow all construction traffic controls,” a news release from the county said. “Please exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area.”
