Wilcox Medical Center Dining Room Restrictions Lifted

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is eliminating all restrictions at its medical center dining rooms beginning Sunday, March 6.

Restrictions at Wilcox Medical Center on Kaua‘i ended on Tuesday, March 1, in line with the County of Kaua‘i’s lifting of Emergency Rule 28. Hawai‘i Pacific Health will follow suit with its O‘ahu locations beginning tomorrow.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Hawai‘i Pacific Health has followed Honolulu and Kaua‘i county rules for restaurants, events and gatherings when determining procedures for dining rooms at its medical centers.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health also has updated its visitor policy to allow two adult visitors at a time for all inpatient and outpatient settings at all facilities, with the option to swap out visitors during a 24-hour period. Previously, certain medical centers and facilities were limited to one visitor per patient at a time. Screening processes for all visitors in the inpatient setting will remain in place.

There are no changes to current mask-wearing guidelines at all Hawai‘i Pacific Health medical centers and facilities.
