166 New COVID Cases Reported Statewide

The state Department of Health reported 166 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 236,435. Seven new fatalities were reported.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 163,890
Hawaiʻi: 25,861
Maui: 27,957
Kaua‘i: 11,448
Moloka‘i: 934
Lana‘i: 624
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 5,721

There are currently 78 individuals hospitalized for the virus statewide. A total of 8,307 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,341 have died.
