District Health Office Announces 12 New COVID Cases Sunday

The State Department of Health Kaua‘i District Health Office announced 12 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, Feb. 27.

Sunday’s new cases bring the total number of active cases on the island to 76, with five hospitalized, and 11,851 cumulative cases. Kaua‘i’s cumulative case count includes 11,770 confirmed locally, eight probable and 73 positive cases diagnosed elsewhere.

Free vaccination is offered islandwide. Vaccinations are available to anyone 5 and older and are safe and effective. For details about island vaccination sites, click here.
