206 New COVID Cases Reported Monday

The state Department of Health reported 206 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 234,551. No new fatalities were reported.

A total of 47 new infections were identified Monday on the Garden Isle.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

• O‘ahu: 162,723
• Hawaiʻi: 25,559
• Maui: 27,762
• Kaua‘i: 11,304
• Moloka‘i: 931
• Lana‘i: 615
• Pending: 0
• Out-of-State: 5,617

A total of 8,136 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,304 have died.
